Indestructible vines will pop out of the ground when you approach the seed, so use your Deku Leaf to make the seed roll to a place where you can pick it up.
Use it to destroy the vine, then exit the room. You are now inside the hollow trunk of the tree dungeon. This cave stretches from the top floor all the way to the bottom -- but a network of vines prevents you from going down to B1. Look to the right and locate a bar for your Grappling Hook. Swing across the gap to the next platform. Wait for the moving "tongue" to come close, then hop on top of it and let it carry you to the next one. Hop across until you're on steady ground again.
There's a locked door behind you and a seed on the ground. Grab the seed and hop to the center platform collect the Rupees from inside the swinging plant, if you want and from there to the west platform. You will find yourself in a long corridor with a small pit in the middle.
Hop into it and you'll be attacked by Morth monsters that stick to you and slow you down. Perform a spin attack to get rid of them, then open the treasure chest to get a yellow Rupee. Open the west door.
Even though it may not look like one, this room is actually a maze. Use the above map to go to the Bomb the red lines signify indestructible vines that will pop out of the ground when you approach them. Use the bomb to destroy the wooden barrier and open the treasure chest in the nook to find the Compass. Grab another Bomb from the flower and throw it across the vines at the other barricade. Navigate the maze to get to the other nook and open the treasure chest to get a Small Key.
Hop into the flower bud to get on top of the pillar with the pot, then make your way up to the highest pillar to find a Joy Pendant. Exit the room. Go through the tunnel back into the central stem of the tree, 3F.
You can now open the locked door with your key. Before you go through the door, you can also ride the platform "tongues" to the right to a platform with a warp cauldron.
Just use the Deku Leaf on the pile of leaves to uncover it. Exit through the door to get to a water-filled room with another small ropeway.
Use the Deku Leaf on the Peahat to make it drop, then on the windmill to retrieve the platform. Cross over the lake to the other side and exit through the door. Fight the enemies on the bottom floor, then catapult yourself up on top of the tree branches.
Look for the grappling point shown in the above picture, but instead of swinging from it, climb up and stand on top of the bar. Look up and latch on to another grappling bar and swing up to the platform in front of you. Ride the tongue platforms up and you will get to a small niche with a treasure chest behind a few small trees.
Open it to get a Joy Pendant. Go through the door at the north wall 4F. Get ready to fight a boss. Use what you've learned when using the Deku Leaf against flying enemies and bring this giant Mothula butterfly down to the ground with the help of the power of the wind. Simply lock on, use the Deku Leaf, then run in close and attack with your sword. Perform a spin attack whenever your opponent unleashes a barrage of sticky burs as they will slow you down.
After a few attacks, the Mothula will lose its wings and you can attack it nonstop with your sword. If you ever need health, use your Grappling Hook to reel in the hearts. Once the enemy is defeated, you can open the treasure chest in the northwest corner to get the Boomerang. Equip it and aim at the two switches above the locked exit gate you can lock on to both of them at once if you hold down the button and move the target over each one.
You can now enter the door with the two vines growing on it. Well, technically you could have opened it up before as well as tossing sticks at the vines would have done the trick for the right one, you'd have to stand in the spot shown in the picture below. But now that you've got the Boomerang, that's all just for show-off. Enter the next chamber to find it filled with hanging vines.
Lock on with your Boomerang and cut them all off, then fly straight across with your Deku Leaf to find a treasure chest with a Joy Pendant. Gohdan is rather similar to Bongo-Bongo from Ocarina of Time in a sense. The player needs to shoot the hands with arrows in order to stun them. Once the hands are stunned - shoot the red eyes of the head. This will cause the head to lower and open its mouth. Toss a bomb inside to damage it. Repeat this process several times in order to beat the boss.
The Helmaroc King is the boss of the Forsaken Fortress. Dodge the Helmaroc King's attack until he tries to peak you - getting his beak stuck into the ground.
Smash the beak with the Skull Hammer. After five times the armor will break off. Now wait for the Helmaroc King to once again try to peak you and get its beak stuck in the ground. Attack it with the sword several times to defeat it. Jalhalla is a large poe formed by many smaller ones. In order to defeat Jalhalla you must use the Mirror Shield whenever a light beam is available to shine light onto the large poe in order to stun him. Pick up Jalhalla and throw him into the large spikes on the corners of the room to split it into many smaller poes.
Now attack and kill all of the smaller ones you can before Jalhalla reforms. Repeat until all of the smaller poes are defeated and Jalhalla will be no more. To defeat Molgera be sure to stand a safe distance away and target the creatures blue tongue once it appears. Use the Hookshot to pull it towards Link and then attack it with the sword. Eventually Molgera will start flying around the room - just dodge the creature until it digs back into the sand. Now wait for Molgera's tongue to appear once more and use the Hookshot on it.
Attack it with the sword to damage the boss.
