Horrible subs torrents wont download
I have tried restarting utorrent, refreshing, restarting computer, and shutting down computer completely then booting up with external attached. None of these worked. With uTorrent exited, open the uTorrent folder depending on your install method, this could be in your Application Data folder and remove the 2 files settings.
The you can replace with rafi's if you still want to try that, If that don't work out, delete rafi's then move those other 2 back into the folder from where they came. I tried finding torrent file and it is nowhere to be found. I tried searching c: AND manually. No torrent file. I am also back to square one. I have noticed that my external is moving torrent files I have downloaded directly to it on its own though. For instance when I got back on my laptop and booted up utorrent I had this problem so I checked the files I had no errors or file cannot be found.
I'm getting a similar issue on uTOrrent 3. When the application starts it connects to trackers fine, however after some time like minutes not sure exactly, all connections to trackers coming back with status "Connection timed out".
Yeah I know you will say firewall bla bla bla, but it is not. Anybody know what is happening? I haven't seen anything like that in FAQ. Is it possible you have a bad settings. Try with a brand new empty settings file:. Open uTorrent's data folder and move both settings.
Incidentally, I added a torrent around 4 hours ago. I've been keeping an eye on it and the tracker status has been continually "Working" for that time. In the past I've occasionally noticed if a torrent has multiple trackers one or more may time out, but never them all.
Disable your proxy. Then try with a Slackware torrent. The other issue it is not just the proxy enabled there are a bunch of other features enabled for privacy along with proxy. Yes, lower it to a speed where the "Connection timed out" would have shown by. The ETA column will, of course, assist in how long the download will take for a set speed.
You can download Slackware with your proxy enabled if you wish. If you get a "Connection timed out", I'd guess the proxy is guilty I might be completely wrong though. It seems to have worked. How long will this work though? Once you're satisfied everything is working as it should, then you can delete those 2 files you moved - it's not like they're HDD space hoggers.
Each should only be around Thanks for your help. It seems to be solved. If not I will just repeat at every failure. Now to fix the new problem. Windows randomly stopping recognizing my external hd. I'm back with the findings, settings reset didn't help much. BUT I found something interesting Slackware has been downloading second day without any issues through the proxy. However, rarbg tracker still has Connection timed out issues. I found this old thread but there was no solution.
Slackware has been downloading second day without any issues through the proxy. Does rarbg have "Connection timed out" without the proxy? I'm guessing your proxy is the cause. I will test, but I will assume it is working without proxy for now. How can it be a proxy issue if when I update just UPnP preferences I can connect with no issues for some time? I suspect some UDP protocol configuration in uTorrent itself is fishy to keep the connection alive through a proxy.
I'm sure there'd be hundreds and hundreds of similar threads if uTorrent was at fault. I did that, surprisingly most torrent clients have the same codebase or using the same libraries I guess. Start new topic. HorribleSubs began more than a decade ago providing subtitles for anime. We have grown way beyond what was originally imagined. This was a hard decision to make for the team, but the truth is, our real life responsibilities have been growing, especially in the times of COVID COVID has really impacted us in various ways, but ultimately it negatively affected how much time we were able to frequently contribute.
After some reflection and evaluation, we realized moving on was the best way forward. This is naturally a good transition point since the Summer anime season ended and the Fall anime season is just about to begin. Yes, we waited to finish most of the series before dropping this news. Be grateful for that. However, do not worry.
Thank you all for joining us on this journey. Many good memories were made, but it is time to say goodbye! Feel free to share whatever thoughts you have in the Disqus thread below. It can also be reached through the proxies nyaa. Unblock HorribleSubs by using a rarely available torrent proxy from this proxy list. HorribleSubs HS is a fansub group with a huge collection of anime series available for download in p, p and p.
They translate, time, encode, and edit their own anime shows. If torrents are slow for someone, XDCC might be a lot faster. Rips from Crunchyroll, Funi, and other English language licensors and rereleases on torrent sites. Using robots. As the dirty work of translation is out of their hands, no one can compete with the speed and breadth of their releases. On the other hand, they are wholly dependent on the work of CR and Funi, and make little to no modifications. This means that they cannot grab unaired OVAs or any Blu-ray exclusive content , only broadcast anime available on streams.
Not to mention that they are way, way out of the legal grey area of fansubbers, and they give middle fingers to the licensors they undermine. Most of all, after effectively spitroasting speedsubbers and licensors, they now troll their own viewerbase for the lulz.
